With a name like this, no design can go unnoticed, even if it's a skull design...Truth is, this week's shirt from TenBills is damn good! Don't be afraid, look closer...I'll have mine on a silver shirt. Many things happen over at TenBills lately. For example, they now offer girly tees too and print with water-based inks, and they run a free t-shirt give-away contest every day (details). Also the Spring Sale is still on and some older designs go for $5 only. I'd say, if you haven't already, now would be a good time to visit TenBills.
Fuzzy Ink is Back!
Posted by Katrina at 8:50 AM Labels: Fuzzy Ink , mustache t-shirts , new design , new website , super mario
Good morning and good week everyone! I'm very excited to learn that our favorite "hairy" shop is back with a new website and a new shirt release. The new website is much "cleaner" featuring all products in the front page and there's now a blog to go with it. The new design, by Jublin, is inspired by Super Mario, the ultimate mustached video game character (use your passionate Italian accent here). Anyhow, it is now up for pre-sale for $16.95. Finally, some older designs are currently on sale for $9.95...
Ecce Homo Tee by Dominic Rouse
Posted by Katrina at 9:58 PM Labels: photography shirts , surrealistic t-shirts , t-shirts designed by artists
A couple weeks ago I was contacted by artist Dominic Rouse regarding a shirt that's up for sale at his website and I must say, nothing could prepare me for his art. I'm not an art critic so I'm not even gonna try talking about his photography, I'll just say that I can't stop looking into these images, the more I look the more I discover. The t-shirt itself is a four screens print individually signed by the artist. The back of the shirt has a list of some of the venues around the world where "Ecce Homo" artwork has been exhibited. Keep in mind that sizes run a little small, so check the size chart before ordering. Lastly, I enjoyed reading "The Artist Statement" (some Plato influences in there...).

Six Hours Left to Buy Wotto's Latest design at TeeFury
Posted by Katrina at 2:52 PM Labels: $9 t-shirts , TeeFury , Wotto
If you're looking for an Easter shirt that doesn't scream "Easter", then maybe you should look into this "Abstract Easter Bunny" by Wotto sold at Teefury. It will be available for only six more hours and then will be gone for ever (or.. hop away for ever?).
All prices at ZBQ are sliced in half due to the moving of the print shop to another location.
Sale ends April 14th.
Spring Sale at Vig Tees

Posted by Katrina at 9:58 AM Labels: Concrete Hermit , Mystery Pack
Usually, I don't suggest grab bags and similar deals because of bad experience in the past, but given the fact that we're talking about Concrete Hermit shirts, I think your chances look pretty good. So here's the deal: for £15 you'll get a shirt and a book! That sounds like a hell of a deal to me especially if you consider that Concrete Hermit's shirts cost an average of £25 and all their books have been just a-m-a-zing.

Posted by Katrina at 7:31 PM Labels: crywolf , name a design , win a free t-shirt
I seriously have to stop writing all these long and descriptive titles because I'm running out of things to write at the post. So anyway, Crywolf is releasing a new limited edition shirt for April and is looking for a name. Check out the design, find a cool name for it, and write it on a comment at the blog, here, and if your name wins then you'll get this shirt for free. Pretty cool huh?
Love Virus Shirts
Posted by Katrina at 12:19 PM Labels: geeky shirts , girly tees , Love Virus , new t-shirt brand
Recently, I was contacted by Bibi regarding her new tee brand, Love Virus, and she noted that there aren't many tee places for the "indie girls with a hint of geek in them". And you know what? I think she's right. We don't often find geeky but girly shirts around, yet alone a whole store. And that's the gap that partners in crime, Bibi and Evan, are meant to fill. For the moment they feature a small but quite impressive collection of three shirts, and there are plans for a new shirt every week. Shirts cost just $15 and because they love us they gave us this little coupon that will save you an extra 10%. Just use code "tshirtsaround".
Lost in Time- New Shirt by Validus Apparel
Posted by Katrina at 9:13 AM Labels: new design , Pre-Order t-shirts , validus apparel
Validus Apparel has a new t-shirt out for pre-sale at $19.50. If you dig the style, which I do, you might wanna check out the store; older shirts go for just $15.
Again, I'm posting a short post since I have to run and be guide. All In Me is the newest winner at ScribTee and is pretty funny. It's printed on a green shirt, I'm just using the submission photo here, which shows it on an asphalt, because there's more detail. Use code "4LOESX25D7F7FVO" and get $5 off your order.

Five Days Left to Buy Cronikas
Posted by Katrina at 7:19 PM Labels: cronikas , ink-hound , tobias fonseca
Remember my previous post about Ink-Hound? Well, forget all about that! I'm totally in love with Cronikas, this week's winner at Ink-hound. It's designed by one of my favorite artists, Tobias Fonseca, and I think will be my first purchase from Ink-Hound. There are still five days left to buy it!
This shirt just made my day! It might had been an OK design if it wasn't for this title, the registration marks, and the halftones. It's just another genius design from Mr. Michael Myers Jr. and you have 10 hours and 45 min to buy it for $9 at TeeFury.
Words from jimiyo:
This is my favorite curated design of the month! For those who aren't familiar with the printing process, they might just see some quirky fellow and some weird crosshairs, but to those enlighted printing geeks, this has it all. Registration marks, halftones, and CMYK, the best CMYK shirt on the net IMO!

Quick note to give this coupon for Vig Tees. Use code "bigvig" at checkout and save 10% off your order. This coupon can be used along with free shipping on all orders over $25.
A Better Tomorrow Already Looks Better
Posted by Katrina at 11:27 PM Labels: A Better Tomorrow , new designs
Truth is that A Better Tomorrow always looked great; I just needed a catchy title! There! But the reason I'm writing this post is because for second week in a row they deliver excellent designs. You're killing me guys, I didn't even manage to finish writing about "Big Brother is watching you", by the always awesome Mike Friedrich, and you come back with an even greater shirt, "The art of letting go" by Argie Salango, who had "rocked my world" back on February with this design. If they keep on that pace, I'll be left with no money in my bank account (of course, if the economy keeps on this pace, that could easily be arranged... but anyway) and no time for any other store to write about! So please, no more awesome designs!
Infomercials Ruined My Life!
Posted by Katrina at 9:54 PM Labels: funny t-shirts , infomercials , vince shamwow
I knew it that this economy would ruin my life's balance! Ok, follow my thought here: first there was no money for companies to buy advertising time on prime time, then the TV channels had to sell any remaining air time for much less, and now there is Vince with ShamWow! in my life. Naturally, it was just a matter of time for those infomercials to penetrate my t-shirt world too... and here are a couple examples. One of the first designs I've seen is the Vince Vulcan mashup parody featuring Vince (you know who) as... a Vulcan. Between my Trekkie husband and my TV guide, I live in a very scary world! And now, RandrTees come out with this shirt featuring the three info-masters, the biggest infomercial stars, Vince Offer, Billy Mays, and Matthew Lesko. What else is next?
This Crawfish Pi thing must be some sort of local New Orleans tradition (or not), but nevertheless I thought this Dirty Coast shirt would be appropriate for the official Pi day, which I know I know, was back on March 14th. I completely screwed up this post but all I really wanted to say was "damn this design is odd" (in a good way always).

Oh, and check out this little video from CNN about Dirty Coast!
Time to Sign Up for Airside's T-shirt Club
Posted by Katrina at 6:50 PM Labels: airside , t-shirt club
It's that time of the year again, when I write a post about Airside's T-shirt Club and give you all this useful information, and you, ahem, love me to eternity(?) Seriously though, it's that time of the year where I write that post but this year there's something special about it; Airside celebrates their 10th year of T-shirt Club and life is beautiful! But let's take things from the start. The T-shirt Club is a £99 membership for which you'll receive four limited edition and exclusive shirts (one for each summer month). The designs remain top secret until received by the members and will never be printed or sold again. For their 10th anniversary Airside invited the most popular designers of the past decade to come back and design for the club. So this year, Airside's own Fred Deakin will be joining Michael Gillette, Ian Stevenson, and, my personal favorite, Shoboshobo. To read all the details click here. And because you know you want it, here's a nice coupon that will save you 10% off the price of the membership: enter "TATI" at the checkout. Cheers!

Posted by Katrina at 12:44 PM Labels: ebay , King Megatrip , used shirts
Well, you know I don't feature eBay stores, but I guess there's a first to everything. Truth is I couldn't resist the charms of Matt aka DJ King Megatrip who, I assure you, is a very smooth talker (although he thinks he's not!) So anyway, Mr King is cleaning up his cluttered closet and puts a lot of his shirts (and music) up for sale at his eBay store. He has lots of old Threadless shirts, some that are out of print, and other that sells for as low as $2 bucks. If you've never heard his sound, you can listen and download his mix tapes here (don't listen to Cocaine Barbecue if you cannot take profanity). I finished listening "Poultry Workers Of America On Strike" and I can't believe there was a Chinese version of California Dreaming in there (!) and now I'm listening "I Must Insist You Eat Steel" which is pure awesomeness!

Gem by a.mar.illo at TeeFury!
Posted by Katrina at 11:32 PM Labels: $9 t-shirts , a.mar.illo. , TeeFuryYou have about 20 hours to buy this "Gem", designed by on of my favorite designers, a.mar.illo, and offered for only $9 bucks at TeeFury. Thank you TeeFury!!!
It is inspired by the looks, style and theatrical expressions of the actors of the silent pictures from the twenties, my favourite decade of the past century (I'm not that old to really know it though). Call it the capture of a sad and haunted look frozen to crystal.
I guess, more or less, we all Twitter, right? Btw, this is my Twitter page if any of you like to follow me (still that "follow me" thing creeps me out a little). Anyway, today I found a website with the name TeeBurb, which is a "twitterish" site that focuses on shirts. So I thought, why not? It must be fairly new since it has only a few members but it's fun to have such a tee community. If you care joining and following me this is my page.

Posted by Katrina at 8:43 PM Labels: Aplomb Clothing , clearance , new t-shirt brand
I don't think I've ever mentioned Aplomb Clothing before, unfortunately there's an ever-growing list of stores-to-be-featured sitting in my laptop, but I would never pass on a sale like this. So first things first, Aplomb Clothing is a brand based in Washington D.C. and "focused on supporting the D.C. area’s diverse Music, Art, and Sports Sub-Cultures" by sponsoring local musicians, artists and athletes, donating ramps to local skate spots, hosting competitions, events and parties etc. A look at their shirts and you'll find this street culture everywhere. My personal favorite shirt is So Much Love, which reads "so much love" at the front and "so little hate" at the back written with huge stripy fonts. So, as I mentioned in the title, Aplomb is having a clearance sale and all prices are reduced with some products being as low as half off. If this isn't the right time to get to know Aplomb then when is it?
