I'm so digging this new print by illustrator Patrick Moberg, which you can buy on a shirt too here. If you look closer the design actually reads "love" which I find amazingly sweet. The shirt is screen printed American Apparel and will cost you $20.
Spring Clearance Sale at Monsieur T.
Posted by Katrina at 10:21 PM Labels: clearance sale , Monsieur T. , spring sale
It's been a while since the last Go Ape shirt release but it worthed the waiting. The Ape-ocalypse is here! It's a design created by Leon Ryan who you might recognize by his winning designs at Threadless or of course the Go Ape logo. Although brown is not my color I love the idea in this design and the overall style. If you visit Leon Ryan's webpage you'll see that he definitely knows how to draw beautiful women. This shirt is printed on American Apparel and will cost you $18.
I just found in my mailbox a super cool shirt sent from the guys over at EIO (excess is OK) and I'm thrilled. They just launched a new kick ass collection and things are looking good with a brand new and clean website. I'm always a big fun of EIO's gradient colors and huge prints and this time there's no exception, my favorite designs are by far Ascii Skull (yes a skull!) and Sunglasses (you can never have enough of those). The shirt I received was Nordic Nights which is ultra soft and fits great. Eio's shirts are sweatshop free, made from esmeril cotton and with respect for the environment. Finally, right now, if you subscribe to their newsletter you enter to win £ 100 free store credit.

Mushroom Soup Shirt by Glennz Tees
Posted by Katrina at 9:17 PM Labels: GlennzTees , new t-shirt , smurfs teeYou might already know my "sympathy" for Smurfs, but in any case, I'm a sucker for funny Smurfs Shirts. Funny is of course Glennz Tees middle name and this Glennz Smurfs design has automatically won a place in my heart! I give you Mushroom Soup!
Theres nothing like a hot bowl of fresh mushroom soup, unless you find something other than mushrooms in it! What looked like the perfect crop of wild mushrooms was home to some forest dwelling creatures that were unfortunately brought back to the pot!

Exciting Things Happening at Thriving Ink
Posted by Katrina at 7:29 PM Labels: 20% off , new website , Thriving Ink
It seams like things, exciting things, are happening over Thriving Ink. First they launch a much more good looking site, simple, clean, a site that reflects more the independent culture of this brand. Second, they just opened their flagship shop in Downtown Pleasanton, called Thriving Ink & Co, where they feature all their shirts as well as several independent brands and jewelry designers. Actually, if anyone is interested they are still looking for more indie brands to carry in the store as well as new artists to design for the brand. It would be fun to check out the store, but for those of us who cannot be in Pleasanton at the moment, there's news number three, which is a nice little coupon for 20% off your online (or in shop) order. Use code "THRIVE" at checkout. Sweet...
Cultural Cotton sells socially and environmentally conscious t-shirts, which are made in America and are sweat-shop free. They are having a sale offering maybe their best seller so far for 40% less and everything else for 20% off. Plus get free shipping if you buy two or more shirts. Sale ends April 26th. Check them out!
Lots of tees go for as little as $12 at DBH sale page.

I must be in "wotto" fase, because I've been featuring his designs a lot lately. It's either this or...he has been extremely creative lately and he's everywhere! Oh well, maybe both... Life, Death & Doodle is the latest Wotto gem printed by A Better Tomorrow (no surprises here). Do I have to talk about all these numerous details? What can I say, the guy clearly loves to doodle!

I'm cracking up with this new shirt from J!nx! It's called Super Cuts and features superheroes' hair styles. Lets see... I can easily spot Wolverine's, Superman's, Hulk's, Wonder Woman's, Ghost Rider's (?) and I'll need some more time for the rest. So pick your style!
Animated Promotional Shots from Johnny Cupcakes
Posted by Katrina at 5:41 PM Labels: animation , Johnny Cupcakes
Found those spots at WatchTeeV.com (yes, such thing exists). They are animated promotional spots for Johnny Cupcakes. They feature 25sec short stories of creatures who love cupcakes. They look pretty clean and fun, although I have to say, overall I wasn't impressed, probably because I work in animation and my taste is more demanding. In any case I thought I post them here and see what you guys thing about it.

Posted by Katrina at 9:38 PM Labels: Full Metal T-shirt , new t-shirt brand , t-shirt voting
I can't remember when I became aware of Full Metal T-shirt brand, but it can't be too long since it's a fairly new site. So anyway, I'm not sure how exactly the whole thing works but it seems like part of the designs sold there, come after community voting, while others are bought directly from artists and some are products of other brands (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). The designs immediately caught my eye and not without a reason, since they're done by some pretty cool artists like Wotto or Dale Edwin Murray, so quality is guaranteed... According to their site, Full Metal folks print on 100% ringspun cotton Alstyle t-shirts that are preshrunk and in full length, and use Direct-To-Garment printing, which gives them the advantage of full color range. These shirts will cost you between $25 to $29 but you get free shipping on any two or more products. The only thing that set me off with this site is the webpage design, this metallic boldness seems in contrast with the colorfulness of the t-shirts. Other than that, I'm looking forward to more and exciting designs from Full Metal.

Yes, it's Monday and you know what that means: a new design from RANDR! This week it's "Pickpocket", a design done by the always cool Mr. Wotto. With this design, I think, RANDR adds yet another awesome shirt to their collection, a collection that now covers a pretty wide range of different styles. You can pick up "Pickpocket" for the great price of $13.99 bucks this week only.
Le Raclet T-shirts from Milan
Posted by Katrina at 9:24 AM Labels: artistic t-shirts , european designers , new t-shirt brand
When Italians talk design you kind of have to pay attention, and there's no exception when it comes to t-shirts. LeRaclet is a new brand based in Milan, Italy, that specializes in screen printing. The designs are created by a team of very talented artists and hand-printed on certified carbon neutral Continental Clothing shirts in super limited quantities of 50 pieces. These shirts will cost you a bit more than usual, priced at €20, but considering the limited edition, the hand-screen job, and the amazing artistic quality of the designs, I'd say it's still a bargain.
The guys over Pyknic are about to launch the new spring 09 collection and before they do that, they're doing some cleaning. So, use code "edmcmahon" at checkout and get 50% off your order!

Night Butterfly Tee
Posted by Katrina at 12:01 PM Labels: artistic t-shirts , new design , red labor , resist today , t-shirts designed by artists
Let me put it this way: I've never seen such a beautiful night butterfly in my life! I'm talking about "Night Butterfly" tee, which is the latest design at Resist Today in the artist series and an amazingly beautiful piece created by artistic duo Red Labor. If you take a closer look you'll see all these little details that make you think "this is not just a butterfly image it's much more". The bad news is that it's only available for women, which is such a bummer since I almost always buy men's shirts. The shirt costs $29 but let me tell you something about Resist Today shirts; I never had a problem with their shirts, the colors never fade, the shirts are AA, and the designs are all eye-catching and quickly become noticeable.
*Update: Scroll down to watch a video of the making of this design, provided by Josh Bertrand!

These guys over RandrTees, oh these guys... Everyweek is yet another gem coming out of this store! I don't think I can keep up with them... This week's design (which is on sale this week only for $13.99) is "Triangle Spaces", designed by Brainsodomy. There are two color options here, I like both but I would most possibly buy the most colorful one (you know me). Last week Randr released "Fable of Wolf" and the week before "More Gore", which goes down as one of my favorite bloody t-shirts. I seems that Monday, when I receive Randr newsletter, is becoming my favorite day of the week...
Moog Royale is a new brand based in Britain and operated by two friends, Mark and Si. The designs are very simple but funky and often feature minimalistic typography. The shirts are quite reasonably priced (for UK at least) at around £18.00 and there's also a sale page, sweatshirts, and kids shirts.
