Found some pretty cool shirts at this new brand, called Arka and based in our very own SoCal. The designs are simple and bold and inspired by love for the environment. Accordingly, these folks use non-toxic (non-formaldehyde) ink, which is better for the environment and costs more (thus the slightly higher prices?). Right now you can get free shipping if you buy more than one shirt.
YBW (Yellow Black & White) released just a few weeks ago a new Summer Line which looks fabulous! Their clothes used to look more colorful and playful in the past with lots typography involved, but the new line looks more sophisticated and less funky putting in use other means such as photography, typography is still the main element. These shirts cost a fair $22 but check out the older designs too that go for a little less.

Being overseas and away from the internet I feel that I'm left behind in the t-shirt-sphere and I'm now discovering designs that were new three weeks ago. I'm talking about Next Please, a design tha came out mid July by ZBQ. I like this shirt first because of the irregular placement that runs across the chest, and second because of the theme that reminds me of Dr. Strangelove. Just discovered Work Clothes, a brand based in the bay area, that sells some good looking shirts! Their clothes feature from minimalistic to pure surreal imagery but everything seems to be fitting perfectly. Everything is printed on 100% cotton AA shirts, in house at their very own print shop. The prices range from $30-$40, which is slightly more expensive than your "usual Threadless tee", but because we've been good, we can use code TSAJL16 and get a nice 25% off!
