Halloween Sale at Randr Tees

Better late than never, I guess... There's still some time left for this nifty sale at Randr Tees, although I'm not sure if there's any size left, but you never know! Sale ends November 2nd.

I laughed my ass off when I saw this design from No Star Clothing. Proceeds from A Must'Stache will benefit Movember, one of the worlds largest (and coolest) charity for men. Here's the blurb:

Your mustache can cure cancer.
Movember is an annual, month-long celebration of the mustache, highlighting men’s health issues - specifically prostate and testicular cancer.
Each Participant (Mo Bro) starts Movember clean shaven, and grows a mustache all month long, garnering support from friends and family in the form of donations.
To date, Movember has raised $47 million globally making it the world’s largest charity event for men.
No Star has teamed up with Movember and is both donating proceeds form all our mustache tees and starting a team of our own...a team to be reckoned with.

Brand New Brand: Pop Cotton

Pop Cotton is new brand (it's launching today) from San Francisco, founded by graphic designer, Tuan Huynh. Their first collection consists of 12 designs that feature simple but thoughtful and playful graphics, that the more you look at the more you enjoy. As you know, green is the new black nowadays, so these folks screen print their shirts using only water-based inks that are better for the environment. For the moment there are only men's sizes available but there's plans for women and kids shirts as well. To get one of those goodies it'll cost you a good $29.50 $26 plus whatever shipping.

It's What's on the Inside that Counts

This design is a reprint from Dutch Southern, although I don't remember it at all, and it's pre-tty neat. It features several good but not so... attractive characters, like Edward Scissorhands, Steve Martin as Cyrano, Elephant Man, Quasimodo, and many others that you should be able to recognize. One thing I like about Dutch Southern is that he knows how to put a good twist on pop culture themes. Thus most of these shirts will never go unnoticed (and you want to be noticed, right?).
This shirt can become your's for $19 plus s&h.

New Shirt from Supermandolini

Supermandolini is one of my favorite stores out there (not to mention that are fellow Greeks) and much to my surprise they haven't come out with any new t-shirt since 2007! So I'm thrilled that they finally launched Shooting Target, a design previously existed on canvas and print. According to the description, Shooting Target "can be described as a reaction to personal frustration confronted with humor and irony".I'd say, it a pretty damn dark design with a humorous twist, actually the humorous part is what makes it even darker. At this moment, this is the only design in Collection 2, so should we expect for more to come?
Supermandolini printed this one on men's and women's American Apparel and will send it to you for a good €30 (plus s&h).

Halloween Super Sale at Seventh.Ink

Pirate Bath Clothing

Pirate Bath Clothing is a new store by Jodi Sagorin who, like many indie shirt producers, started her career by designing shirts for herself, friends and family. She is only 18 and Pirate Bath is her first attempt to screen print a larger amount of shirts, since she basically hand paints everything in her garage! Actually, Jodi has set up a Kickstarter to raise money to buy the equipment needed for screen printing her designs, and there's a video and a link if you'd like to pledge any amount. Of course, with 12 bucks a piece, these shirts are so darn cheep and you still get to help her. The designs are pretty simple, one-line, black and white kind of big doodles with interesting placement and if you ask me, for the money you get a hell of a deal.

Fourth Is King

Fourth is King is a store created by designer James Byrnes, creative director of art and graphic design studio, Adapt-Studio, Inc. The store currently features three designs (and more to come) that I find quite... refreshing. These are simple, groovy, cheerful designs printed on limited quantities so you know only few people have the same shirt. Normally it'd cost you $28 (plus $5 for shipping) to get your hands on one of these sweeties but if you use magic coupon code HOORAY you'll save a nice 15% off your order!
Offer until the end of October.

Breathe On Apparel

Breathe On Apparel is new brand that came to my attention lately. According to Nico, one of the founders, BOA "brings together unique designs that have influences ranging from music, sports, and urban life", and sponsors many musicians and athletes (surfers, skateboarders, and the like). The designs are bold featuring huge prints but range in styles, so there's definitely something for every taste. The shirts are made by 100% fine jersey cotton and their prices range between $21-22 (the discounted ones can be as low as 10 bucks), which I find quite reasonable. Also, the BOA folks have plans for jeans, jackets, and button downs, that will launch this winter, so stay tuned.
Update: use code YEAHBOY and get a nice 10% off your order for limited time only!

$10 Halloween Sale at Threadless

New Fall 09 Collection at MNKR

MNKR released their new Fall 09 collection a few days ago and things look absolutely awesome. The new line consists of 25 new designs in a variety of styles and products. They now offer v-necks, long sleeves, blouses, you name it. All designs are in the typical MNKR style, with one or two colors linework, photography elements, text, and a touch of vintage feel.

This sale was supposed to end yesterday but it looks like it's still on, so I thought "why not"? All shirts are on sale at The Quiet Life while they clean up their shelves to make room for the next line.

This is actually a very fun contest. Tolky Monkys, those crazy Spaniards, have created a new character (shown in the image below) for their store but they're missing his (or hers if you wish, I'm not judging) name and story. What they want from us, is to invent a story and a name for this poor creature. You can write your ideas at the comments area starting today (one name and story per comment), October 14th, until October 22nd. There are quite a few blogs participating in the contest and you can enter in all of them but with a different idea. The story should not exceed 250 words (remember it's a microstory). Keep in mind that Tolky Monky characters are super nuts!
Now the hot stuff, los prizes:
-Two big winners (one for the story and one for the name) among all blogs will each get a package of four (4) items from the new collection.
-Two winners from each blog will receive one random shirt each.
-You might also wanna know that bloggers are participating too, so two bloggers will receive a gift pack. So don't disappoint me, ok? I'm expecting your best ideas!
To read all the fineprint click here, here, and here.
To break the ice, I'm gonna go ahead and write the first comment, so that you guys know that there are more stupid ideas than yours...

Buy One Get One Sale at Always Urban

Always Urban is running a "buy one get one free" type of sale. Buy any sale item, enter code "freetee4me2" and you'll get a free mystery t-shirt in the same size.
(also free shipping on all orders $75 or more)

I first featured Binkie back in February ad I was totally impressed with their shirts, with their level of sophistication, that's why tody, when I received their newsletter, I rushed to check out their new Tattooed Lady Collection. I wasn't disappointed, once again they pulled together an amazing collection, combining beautiful patterns to create mysterious figures, and stitching different fabrics on blank shirts to achieve a look of real craftsmanship. Of course you might find it kind of "too much" to pay the $150 NZD (around $110 USD) but that doesn't mean I can't keep salivating over these shirts, right? If I could spend the $100+ Binkie shirts would be my first choice.

Candy floss and carnivals, palm readers and fire eaters; step right up folks and check out the mysterious, the notorious , the loveliest Tattooed Lady.

Minimal my Ass!

I laughed my ass off when I first saw this shirt! Stopped laughing when I saw the price though... €59? Come on guys! You're killing us! Damn Europe...
Anyway, still a good shirt, Minimal my Ass shirt from Wasted German Youth.

Couple of Good Sales

It's been a busy period and it seems like there's a ton of sales going on, so I'm combining two of them in a joint post.
First, teepay is offering £5 off your order until Tuesday October 13th.

And second, AOK is having an awesome $10 sale until supplies last.

Enjoy!!!

Hypnic Shirts

Hypnic is a very very new brand that was launched sometime around late September. The designs are made by Mike Hammer who is also the founder, and they feature abstract shapes with different textures. They remind me of abstract psychological images in which everyone can see something different, but then again little details, like the squirrel in the bottom of this shirt, bring you back to reality (although... there's nothing realistic about a talking squirrel...). Hypnic shirts are screen printed AA 100% cotton and priced at $24.99, but as many times in this blog, a new brand comes along with a nice coupon, which in this case is "teesaround" and will save you 10% off your order.
Coupon is valid until the end of October.

To my surprise, I realized that I only feature these guys when they have a sale. So this is going to change as today I feature Arkaik's Clothing new fall release. To be honest, I kind of grew out of the big gory designs so I was very happy to see that they included a "cute monster" type of design, like they did back in summer with the two Greg Abbott shirts. "Not the Teeth!" comes in three colorways and a tank top, it's super limited, and it's the first Arkaik design that uses photography. I absolutely love the combination of real photography and drawing. The shirts range from $24.99 to $29.99 but you can get them for 20% less if you use the code FML at checkout.

Three Hearts Club Shirts

Three Hearts Club (a.k.a. The Hash Crew) is basically a Chicago graffiti crew, formed in the early 90's, which is consisted not only by graffiti artists but also fine artists, graphic artists and musicians. So naturally, for their first run of shirts, all they had to do was ask their members to submit designs and they ended up choosing five of them. Check out the rest of the submissions at Flickr, some really nice pieces that hopefully we'll see in a future release. You can buy these t-shirts at Bopzink, which is their bigcartel online store and where you'll also find some info about the artists and links to their websites. The shirts are printed on Alstyle 100% ringspun cotton and will cost you between $20 to $30 (shipping is free in the US).
Well ok, you knew this message wasn't gonna end here, right? Right... So, for your shopping pleasure and only, type hash at checkout and you'll receive a nice 10% off your order! Say thank you...
Update: this coupon will always be at the side bar under "coupons" in case you want to use it over and over again!
