Brand New Brand: Natty Paint

Natty Paint is the work of a sole person, Baltimore artist and designer Emily Li Mandri, who has been selling her creations in local stores for the last few years. Emily combines silkscreening and handpainting and many times adds rhinestones and sewn bits of fabric to achieve a really unique look of wearable art. She says her designs "are bright and in your face. There’s nothing subtle about them. They’re meant to make a statement. An art statement" and I agree, these shirts are bold and will hardly go unnoticed. Natty Paint prints and paints on American Apparel shirts and will send one your way for a fair $30 (plus s&h).

Blob Shirt at Randr

I really dig this Blob shirt, which is the latest Randr release and is created by the always awesome Atomic Child. Randr guys are working on several new things, like shirts pre-sale events and a bunch of new releases, and judging from this blob shirt, I'm so looking forward to that.

Nope, this is not another Shirts Around contest, but a brand new contest that the guys over Buy-Tees.net are holding in collaboration with T-Post.se. For a chance to win a three month subscription to T-Post T-shirt Magazine, which basically translates to three free shirts, check out the details here. If you're interested you have to act fast since the contest will be running for about one more week.

Quick note to let all the ladies know that all women's shirts at GlenzzTees go for $11 only! That's one sweet deal...
Offer ends Christmas.

I haven't probably dedicated much "ink" on Fiftyseven-Thirtythree, although I do admire their work and artistic approach on t-shirts immensely. In fact, I would certainly wear pretty much everything they sell on their store! Fiftyseven-Thirtythree recently released this Lincoln Selleck shirt that features Abraham Lincoln and Tom Selleck along with the Bay Bridge and Twin peaks (and the Ferrari 308 GTS from Magnum P.I.), and reads "act like ya know". Maybe this is what I was suppose to do, act like I know, but dammit, I don't get this shirt! But come to think of it, these are the people that made this other sick Mona Lisa Simmons shirt after all...
Fiftyseven-Thirtythree prints on sweatshop-free American made shirts and will ship one your way for roughly $32 to $42. But since you're reading this blog, it just so happens to get a fat 25% off discount with coupon code DRAGON! Say, thank you!
This coupon is always available for your consuming pleasure at the sidebar.

Dapper Men at Chop Shop

I have no words for these guys over Chop Shop! They just came up with this design that is sure to please all the beard and hair enthusiasts (ok, that didn't sound right). Dapper Men features 141, one hundred and forty one (!), dudes and their hairy heritage! I'm sure even this guy will have trouble figuring out who is who...
In other news, Chop Shop's current absolutely free shirt is NerdBot 2.0. Enjoy...

Holiday Sale at SplitReason

Use coupon ANTIGRINCH at Splitreason.com and get 15% off your order.

I don't think I've ever featured Carioca Salt before, but it's a good opportunity to introduce you this easy going Australian/Brazilian brand now, that they're slashing their prices by 30%. Check it out!

Brand New Brand: Robatabrand

This brand has been sitting in my "to do" list since the beginning of time, so finally, here I am writing about Robatabrand. Robatabrand is run by two individuals, Dan and Mark, who work out of Utah and Alabama respectively. The designs are inspired by the work and life of specific people of interest. Right now they have two series, the "Sience" that features Yuri Gagarin, Stephanie Kwolek, and Christian Barnaard, and the "Litarature" that features Kurt Vonnegut, Raymond Carver, and Sylvia Plath. My favorite two designs are Raymond Carver and Yuri Gagarin, and I admit, it has nothing to do with these two people, I just love these damn designs. Robatabrand prints on AA shirts and will ship you one for a fair $22 (plus S&h) but if you use the code TAROUND24 for the next 24 hours you'll get a nice 10% off your order! Go hunt my vicious tee hunters!

Brand New Brand: Rotten Thread

Rotten Thread is a new brand run by a young couple, Shannon and Javier, who ship out of their home at San Antonio, TX. The designs are all created by Javier who is also responsible for the web design and photography. As I said it's a new brand, so for the moment there are just two designs available for order (and a third in the making) but they're both pretty bold and cool looking and I can totally see me wearing them. These shirts usually sell for $19.99 but you can take advantage of the promotion they're running (which ends tonight at midnight!) and get one of those "panda and guts" shirts for just $12.99 plus $4 for shipping! Of course it wouldn't be hunting if there wasn't some type of "adrenaline challenge" involved, so the first two of you to buy from Rotten Thread will receive a pair of retro sunglasses! All you have to do is mention "Shirts Around" in the "Add special instructions to merchant" field at Paypal.
Unfortunately, they don't offer international shipping, so my international hunters will have to contact these nice folks and make arrangements.

Use code RANDOMOBJ1126 at checkout to receive a fat 20% off discount at Random Objects from now until Thanksgiving!

Tyrannosaurus Rockstar

This shirt just made my day! Tyrannosaurus Rockstar is the latest design from Seventh.Ink and is available for pre-order. Honestly, one cannot have too many dinosaur shirts and this one is the perfect addition to my collection. So I guess it's a good thing that today, Friday the 13th, Seventh.Ink has slashed prices on all shirts, right?

3 for £20 Grab Bags at Concrete Hermit

Generally speaking I'm not a big fan of grab bags, but knowing the quality of the shirts and designs and the GB prices of Concrete Hermit, I'd say you cannot go much wrong with these grab bags. Simply choose your size and you'll get 3 random Concrete Hermit shirts for a total of £20.

Brand New Brand: Threyda

I found Threyda (pronounced threy da) a few days ago and I totally loved their shirts. They say they want to get into the extreme sports industry but, frankly, I think they can market their shirts to anyone that loves nicely executed designs. For the moment they offer five designs in two color-ways each and there are more to come. My favorite two are Mescaleyes by Lawrence Hodge and Escambo com Yansa by Fernando Chamarelli. All the designs are visually appealing with big prints and nice little details, like the logo print at the back. Threyda prints with water-based inks on AA shirts and will send yours in a beautiful paper box. It'll cost you $39.95 to get one of those goodies, but if you've been reading this blog for a while, you know there's always a little something for you up my sleeve. Thus you can save a fat 20% off your order with the code tshirts2009! Say thank you to the beautiful people at Threyda...

10% off Coupon for DBH

Afro Jazz by Bernos

The latest Bernos shirt is called Afro Jazz and is inspired by the music of Grand Kalle et l'African Jazz (aka African Jazz). Personally, I think the shape of African continent is very cool anyway, but when made out of music notes that come out of a saxophone... that's just sick!

Star Paws!

You know, I believe we can never have too many Star Wars t-shirts (and the same goes for Star Trek too) and that's why I always welcome a nicely done Star Wars design. Pandy Cane's theme is pandas and candy and I love how they incorporated this theme into a Star Wars shirt. The design is made by the always awesome Greg Abbott and is printed on AA red shirt. It'll cost you £15 (plus s&h) to get one of those goodies but you can always use my super magic coupon, "shirtsaround", to save a good 10% off your entire order (this coupon is permanent and you can always find it at the sidebar). Sweet detail, all Pandy Cane shirts come in custom printed boxes filled with sweets!

The Ripper, New Shirt from Akumu Ink

Akumu's new gem is called The Ripper (yes, that would be Jack the Ripper) and is the first one they used gold paint. The print is pretty big and most of the ripper's figure is filled with a nice fleur-de-lis pattern. I totally adore this new design and the choice of this color is just amazing, and as Joe puts it "the choice of making this a gold print is like having the dim street lights just outlining this deviant murderer".
In other news, Akumu Ink also launches 3 packages of shirts and hoodies, so you can now buy 3 t-shirts for $58.99 (10% savings), or 2 t-shirts and 1 mystery t-shirt for $55 (15% savings), or 2 t-shirts and 1 hoodie for $81.99 (10% savings plus free pinbacks). Returning customers will receive this limited edition paper toy called "The Vampire" (see image below).
