What Goes Around...

Some people call it Karma, while others say "You reap what you sow". Either way, your actions inevitably lead to positive or negative consequences. So why not try and say and do positive things for yourself and others. This will benefit you in more ways than you could ever image. Or you could choose to do malicious and harmful things. Just remember "What goes around, comes around."

Printed on soft American Apparel 2001 tees. Manufactured in the USA, and sweatshop free.

Brand New Brand: Limitedtshirts.com

Simply put, creating a collaboration of artists and designers can only lead to two main things: a hell of a fun time, and seriously awesome artwork that we can showcase to the world. We provide an open platform where emerging and established artists are given the spotlight to exhibit their amazing artwork. It is a space where a community is able to develop, decide and play a crucial role through its input. Interaction is key. The art is key. The result is fundamentally life changing... as it should be.
Limitedtshirts.com is all about art and sharing. Our aim is to create a unique collaboration between artists, designers and the members of the community. The best artwork is showcased on a kick-ass platform where everyone has the power to select which ones will go to print.

Our main tool to promote our product is our website, which functions as a retail outlet/webshop, but also as a social community. We give designers the tools to interact, comment on each other's work, and promote their art.

Brand New Brand: Winky Boo

Winky Boo was born from the love and playfulness of a grandfather who re-named his three grandchildren: the oldest, Winky, after her performance as a flying monkey in The Wizard of Oz; the youngest, Boo Boo, the soft cuddly pal of Yogi Bear; and myself, Princess, who never left the house without wearing every piece of jewelry I owned, including my crown, of course.
Winky Boo designs are for those who haven’t forgotten what being imaginative is all about.

Mind Killer by The-Affair

Mind Killer is based on Frank Herbert's sci-fi masterpiece Dune and specifically on the infamous Litany Against Fear invented by the secretive Bene Gesserit nuns of Wallach IX.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total
obliteration.

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over
me and through me. And when it has gone past
I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain."

Frank Herbert, 1965

Grab a calculator, enter 5318008 and flip it upside down!

Remember a moment when you were young, sitting on the class and got bored during a mathematical lesson? What did you do at that time? Here I give you the keyword : calculator. True! We were playing Calculator Spelling!

An unintended characteristic of the seven-segment display is that many numbers, when read upside-down, resemble letters of the Latin alphabet. Each digit can be mapped to a unique letter, creating a limited but functional subset of the alphabet, sometimes called the beghilos alphabet.

To recall that time, NerdyShirt issued BOOBIES Calculator Tee ($19.55) which is inspired by the era of the triumph of calculator spelling in our childhood. If you want try, click here and create your word! You can make hello, hell, shell, legible, eggshell, boobs, boobless, big, gobble, beg, and many more.

We know that NerdyShirt is a manufacturer who designed all their shirts with simple designs but evoke a memory and representing the expression. All of NerdyShirt tees are printed on the highest quality and most affordable cotton shirts available. They print locally and ship every order personally. Their tee is printed in Los Angeles, California.

By wearing this tee, I believe that you will never feel bored in math class because you can play Calculator Spelling on your shirt.

Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock!

Jan-ken-pon! Jan-ken-pon! I still remember when i was a kid I used to do this type of suit. Well, we used Japanese due to the influence of Japanese cartoons that we watched. But in the end, we realized that we could read the habit of playing our opponent, that will easily win or lose. That’s why the game was no longer playable.

But Big Bang Theory, a famous sitcom geeky in the year 2007, has changed everything. There was one episode where Sheldon propose to use the game “Rock-Paper-Scissors-Spock-lizard”, an expanded form of the game “Rock-Paper-Scissors” or Jan-Ken-Pon in Japanese. Lizard and Spock are additional weapons that we can play. The rules of this upgraded version is rock crushes lizard, scissors decapitate lizard, lizard eats paper, lizard poisons Spock, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, Spock bends scissors.

For those of you who likes the new version, you would’ve liked the latest T-shirt from ThinkGeek. Here it is Rock Paper Scissors Spock Lizard Tee ($15.99 – $16.99) which is inspired by The Big Bang Theory sitcom. There’s a diagram on the tee that will help solve in game disputes.

Blogging Update

This blog hasn't been active since April (obviously!), that's because life has taken me to a different direction and I can't seem to focus on blogging right now. The good news is, that fellow blogger Rangga is coming to the rescue! He will be joining Shirts Around as a guest blogger. I'm very excited about this new collaboration, since Rangga is one of my favorite and most respectable tee bloggers out there and he'll be bringing some new air to the blog. Of course, that doesn't mean I'm going to disappear from the posts, on the contrary, this new development has given me a push to keep updating Shirts Around. It just means that there will be more variety (and we like variety don't we?). So stay tuned my friends!
